Mission
The Mission of the Southeast Missouri Emergency Medical Services Network, Inc.
is to enhance Emergency Medical Services in Southeast Missouri and assist
communities in adequately maintaining preparedness to respond to natural
disasters, accidents, or other situations that present potential of causing
personal injury.
Purpose
The Purposes of the Organization are as follows:
To provide education,
training and technical assistance to providers of Emergency Medical Services
(EMS) and institutions engaged in the business of training and educating
individuals in EMS skills.
To promote various programs and conduct
community awareness campaigns to enhance preparedness for responding to
medical emergencies in Southeast Missouri.
To provide, arrange for,
or assist other non-profit organizations or public agencies in the
acquisition of equipment and technology necessary to upgrade and maintain a
state of readiness of Emergency Medical Services.
